Joint Bus Service
St Helen & St Katharine School, Abingdon School and The Manor Preparatory School operate a joint bus service. For ease of control and convenience, the arrangements are co-ordinated from a single point; St Helen & St Katharine School provides this role. Prefects from both Abingdon and St Helens, who have been given joint training, supervise passengers.
The Application Form for places on the joint bus service is only available to complete online via the link at the side. Details of the routes we will be operating can be downloaded in pdf format from the link above. Existing passengers do not need to reapply for their seats.
Application for travel does not guarantee a seat, as space on certain routes is very limited. Factors such as having siblings currently using the service and living close to the stop will be taken into consideration. Seats are booked to use our 4.20pm return service from St Helen's or our later service at 5.20pm from Abingdon School. It is not possible to have an open place to use both return services. If seats are available we will issue passes on a one off or termly basis for travel using a different route for a maximum of 2 days per week. Please be aware that Abingdon boys may only travel home on the later service departing at 5.20pm.
