Didcot Stop 21/05/13 - 24/05/13

Due to works currently taking place near the station that are causing additional delays in the morning we are moving our stop to Tesco's in Didcot drom Tuesday 21st May.  The stop time will be 08:05hrs.   The route should return to normal after the half term break.

New Locations - September 2013

From the start of the new academic year in September we will be making further improvements to our network of routes.   We will provide an AM & PM service using our 5.20pm return routes from Abingdon School coach park to the following locations.   Bicester, Burford, Chesterton, Combe, East Hagbourne (AM Only), Eynsham, High Wycombe, Kirtlington, Kingsclere, Shiplake, Stonesfield,  Twyford, Wargrave.   If you are an existing parent and would benefit from using any of these stops please get in touch.  admin@jointbus.co.uk

Clifton Hampden

Our AM stop in Clifton Hampden will be added to our Henley route from the start of the new term in April.  This will remain in place for the remainder of the current academic year.

Faringdon Late Route

From the start of the new academic year in September 2013 our Faringdon Late route will take on the same return route as our earlier 4.20pm service from St Helens.  The end result will be AM & PM coverage for all of our stops with minimal difference in return times for passengers.

Lost Property

An online form is available from the link at the side of this page.  Please can you use this to let us know about any items that may have been left on the school bus routes we operate.  We will then liaise with the coach operators on your behalf.  This is now the method by which you can report or enquire about lost items.

Temporary & Late Bus Passes

For temporary or late bus passes please email admin@jointbus.co.uk with your child’s name and details of the route/stop required and whether your child is a regular traveller.  Requests for passes the same day must be received by 11am.  Providing spaces are available a pass will be issued.  St Helen’s pupils can collect these from the Bursary at St Helen’s.  Passes for Abingdon pupils will be sent to the Common Room Secretary.  Temporary passes are only available on a termly basis and must be applied for at the start of each term.  Due to limited spare capacity on routes to and from school Late & Temporary passes are not guaranteed and will be issued on a first come first served basis. If your pass is no longer required please can you make us aware so we can allocate the seat to somebody else.

Coach Locker Procedure

To improve the safety of the coach journeys to and from schools the following procedure will be followed.  Please ensure that your child understands his/her role in this procedure.

Coach lockers may only be opened or closed by the driver who is the keyholder.

Passengers must wait for the driver to disembark before boarding or disembarking so that the driver can attend to the locker promptly. 

On homeward bound trips passengers are asked to tell the driver if they have baggage they need to retrieve before disembarking.
