Welcome to the St Helen’s recruitment page where we advertise our teaching and support staff vacancies.

St Helen’s employs over 160 people in both teaching and support staff roles and we are genuinely committed to our staff.  Set on the edge of the historic market town of Abingdon, our extensive grounds have their own playing fields and garden on site. We believe it is a very special place to work.

St Helen’s is well known for having high academic standards as well as for offering a broad range of extra-curricular activities.  There is a lively and purposeful environment and you will be working with highly motivated, intelligent pupils who are keen to learn. We encourage teachers to show real initiative in the classroom and you will be well supported by a friendly, dedicated team of staff.  The school is extremely well resourced, with excellent, state-of-the-art facilities including a new library building opened in January 2010 which has an extensive ICT Suite and lecture theatre.

St Helen’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Criminal Records Bureau.  All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the pupils and must adhere to, and comply with, the School’s Child Protection Policy.

Please explore our website to find out more about our school.
