We are especially proud of our former pupils and make every effort to keep in touch with them after they leave St Helen’s. Our Old Girls' Liaison Officer, Sandie Burnett, sburnett@shsk.org.uk, devotes her time to organising reunions for former staff and pupils and communicating with the 3,700 Old Girls with whom we are in regular contact.
The Old Girls’ Newsletter, published annually in November, is packed full of interesting news of former pupils and is sent to all Old Girls in time for our St Kate’s Day celebrations.
Current pupils also enjoy meeting our Old Girls when they return to school to give careers advice, attend reunions or simply to visit the ‘old’ school again.
Sandie manages our Old Girls' website, Helkats Connected, which is specifically designed to help Old Girls keep in touch with each other and with school. As well as providing news and information about events, it forms the basis of our mailing list for newsletters, invitations and magazines.
