Virtual Headmistress' Breakfast events

  • Friday 19 June 2020, 9.10–10am

We are delighted to be hosting the Headmistress’ Breakfast in June virtually. The event will include a presentation by the Headmistress’ which will be followed by a question and answer session. The meeting will take place using Zoom and we will email you a link to the meeting the day before.

Virtual individual visits

Ideally, your first visit to the School would be at our Open Day at least one year prior to entry, although we would encourage you to come along earlier - children of all ages are welcome. Following this visit, in the year prior to entry, you are invited to make an individual visit appointment. These are currently being carried and virtually and will include a meeting with the Headmistress, which can then be followed up by meeting with the Admissions team. Please contact our Admissions Office to request an appointment.

Open Day

Our next whole school Open Day will be on Saturday 3 October 2020. This is a lively and informal occasion with a range of events and displays as well as the opportunity to have a guided tour of the School and attend a talk by the Headmistress. You do not need to register to attend this event, please do just come along.

Nearer the time we will send a programme of the day to families whose details we currently have on our system. If you would like to receive a programme but have not previously provided us with your details please complete your details here.

We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity of a personal virtual meeting with Miss Doherty, Head of Sixth Form and Further Education for those candidates that may be considering Sixth Form entry in September 2021 (current Year 10 students). Please contact our Admissions Office to request an appointment.

A-level Options Open Evening

The next A-level Options Open Evening will be held in October 2020.

This is an important event for prospective students and their parents who are considering St Helen's Sixth Form. They join current students and parents from Year 11 to find out about our Sixth Form programme of study, including subjects available, course details and the opportunities for breadth and depth of study including the EPQ.

The Head of Sixth Form, A-level subject teachers and current Sixth Form students will all be on hand to discuss chosen subjects in more detail.

Our Careers and Higher Education Department will also be available to discuss which subjects are relevant to different degree courses and future careers.

We will shortly be opening up a booking form for this event.

Sixth Form Experience Day - cancelled

We have had to take the decision to cancel the Sixth Form Experience Day planned for Tuesday 16 June 2020. The very nature of this event doesn't allow for us to provide a virtual alternative. However, we do recommend attendance at our A-level Options Evening see details above. Our Head of Sixth Form and Further Education is also available for virtual personal visits for candidates considering entry into Sixth Form in September 2021. Please contact our Admissions Office to request an appointment.
