On 19 September, Steve Bridger brought his wonderful animals to St Helen’s. He ran four sessions for Year 7, explaining where each animal comes from, what they eat and some memorable facts. His animals included a blue tongued skink, barn owl, bullfrog and many more.
Animazing was simply amazing! I loved every second of it. Steve brought in some wonderful and unique creatures such as a huge rabbit, some hissing cockroaches, a barn owl and lots more. I really enjoyed this experience and I know others did too. We got to hold most of the creatures and learnt about how they get food and where they live. My favourite part of the talk was when I got to stroke a hedgehog! I had a great time because I simply wouldn’t usually get to see these animals up close, as they live in the wild. It was a fantastic opportunity; I really recommend it.
