As part of our higher education programme, students from across the School welcomed independent university specialists, the University Guys, and talked to a variety of international universities and explore a wide range of options for higher education and studying abroad. Georgina (L6H) shares her insights on the event.

It was really interesting to learn about how different the systems are in the US and Canada. I think that it really opened everyone’s eyes to the opportunities available outside the UK especially for those that don’t want to commit to studying just one subject.

The US and Canadian system offers much more breadth of study that could be a great option for lots of people that want an adventure abroad and want to explore a variety of different classes. The University Guys – who organised the session – were really knowledgeable about the opportunities out there, such as studying medicine abroad in Italy, Ireland or Cyprus.
