One Day Film School

Lights, camera, action – Year 8 welcomed Young Film Academy's One Day Film School for a fantastic day of film-making fun, fight choreography and storytelling through silent film. Beyond - TechSpace Club

Every week over the past term students have been attending TechSpae – a club for students to tinker with and explore their own digital projects, from physical computing using Arduinos, flashing lights and things that beep, to game design using GameMaker and Blender. A day in the life of a Tudor

Students stepped into history this term with the help of professional historians from Viking School Visits to learn about the Tudor period. From gruesome executions to royal curtseys, Year 7 enjoyed an entire day of interactive talks and activities – all whilst dressed as Tudor characters themselves. There was plenty of excitement and laughter as Juniors embarked on their residential trip to PGL Liddington this year. Ukraine support with Eden Aid

Over the half-term break, we were delighted to be able to provide our minibus – in addition to several provided by other Oxfordshire schools – to the Eden Aid charity who recruited drivers to travel four days across Europe to the Ukraine-Poland border to deliver aid and provide transport for refugees fleeing conflict in their home country of Ukraine.
