On 14 February Year 5 competed in Love Languages. We hosted the event and many schools from across the area entered. Year 5’s theme was a family breakfast. Our show started with an introduction in four languages: Mandarin, German, French and our main language of the term, Spanish. Then we sang a song, introducing all the family members in those languages and also their personalities.
After we had done our intro we sat down round a large table. We did our show (which was not very long). Everyone did very well. After the last performance by Chandlings everyone went out of the Studio Theatre and had a snack. When we all went back in the judges revealed the winner. It was Rush Common. They did very well and deserved to win!
