On 9–10 July Year 6 went on a fantastic trip to the PGL Centre in Liddington.
When we got to the PGL resort, we started the activities planned straight away, these included: the crate building challenge, archery, abseiling, sensory trail, raft building, zipwire and the giant swing. We got split into separate groups, the ‘Great Greens’ and the ‘People’. In the evening we played a big game of Capture the flag until it was time to go back to our dormitories. We all got to stay over at the resort for a night and slept in dorms which was great fun.
My favourite activity we did was the giant swing, which I think most people liked. We got split into small groups of three and were pulled up by the rest of our class. Once we were at the height we wanted, someone had to pull out a very large pin on the swing, and we plummeted down! It was very scary but good fun!
Overall, we had a great time at PGL. The bus back from the resort was full of singing which we learnt from the instructors, and we were sad to be going back home!
